Today, Lumi Place CIC had the wonderful opportunity to visit Grove Street Primary School to speak with pupils about their hopes and dreams for the future.

We talked about careers, community, and how each of us has the power to make a difference. 💬🌱

As a community-led organisation, Lumi Place CIC stands for kindness, sustainability, and support for those around us. We shared how our team—made up of volunteers, food rescuers, community organisers and everyday heroes—works together to build a fairer, greener, and more caring world.

From running our free food redistribution events, to promoting zero-waste living and supporting local people through challenging times, we encouraged pupils to think about how they might use their skills and passions to help others and shape their communities.

Whether it's becoming a chef, a teacher, a nurse, a coder, or even a future community leader—every dream matters.
