Lumi Place Community Shop is a welcoming, no-nonsense community shop that puts people before profit. Prices are deliberately kept low so everyone can access what they need with dignity. All income goes straight back into supporting the local community, not shareholders or CEOs. Clothes
At Lumi Place Community Shop, clothing is priced with care and fairness in mind. Most items on the rails are just £1, because affordability matters to us. You’ll also find the occasional unique gem—such as Dr. Martens or Balenciagapieces (with authenticity confirmed)—mixed in among everyday essentials. The majority of our clothes are practical, comfortable, and perfect for daily wear, with only a small selection of special pieces, like classic black dresses, set aside. Books
Books at Lumi Place Community Shop are an invitation to step away from virtual life and enjoy something real. Most books are priced at 50p to £1, making reading affordable for everyone. Occasionally, you may come across something truly special—older or rare editions, including a few dating back to the 1890s and early 1900s—which are priced accordingly.
